I own The Studio By Lauren, a dance studio located in Conway, and I also have my own business custom painting toms, which have been picked up by a few stores in Arkansas. I have 3 older brothers who are all married. I have 6 precious nephews. My parents have raised me to trust in God for everything. I admire my parents and the Christian foundation they have brought me up in.

Habla En Espanol

I have had the opportunity to speak to different groups about my platform and experience in Honduras. However this time was quite different. This past spring, I had the privilege of sharing my Honduras Medical Dental Mission trip with my college Intermediate Spanish class. One catch... I delivered my presentation in Spanish!!! I developed a slide show to be able to illustrate everything I was saying just in case they did not understand every part. The class responded very well and were eager to learn more about my work in Honduras. I always enjoy sharing my Honduras experience with whoever I have the opportunity to.

My platform is Giving Children Hope Through A Smile. My father is a prosthodontist, which is a specialized dentistry. I have grown up seeing the work he has done and lives he has changed by creating beautiful smiles. Each year more than 200,000 children are born with cleft lip and cleft pallet. These facial deformities often cause the children to not be able to eat or speak properly. In many countries the children are shunned and hidden away. It is my goal to spread awareness about the difference a beautiful smile can make in ones life. To do this I have partnered with Operation Smile raising funds for this cause. I go into schools to spread awareness about O.S. as well as to educate children on proper dental care. I have also traveled on medical dental mission trips to Honduras to assist my father in the dental work he does.
