Miss Diamond Lakes: Miss Timeless Beauty

I own The Studio By Lauren, a dance studio located in Conway, and I also have my own business custom painting toms, which have been picked up by a few stores in Arkansas. I have 3 older brothers who are all married. I have 6 precious nephews. My parents have raised me to trust in God for everything. I admire my parents and the Christian foundation they have brought me up in.

Miss Timeless Beauty

I was invited to judge the Miss Timeless Beauty Pageant at Southridge Living Center. What a fun event! Each of the contestants were introduced in a beautiful gown they had picked out. They were then asked a question about who they admired most and why. Each of the contestants were so elegant and beautiful. There was a large audience in attendance and they did a great job with cheering for everyone. I enjoyed meeting the contestants and their relatives and getting to know about them even more. I was honored to help with the crowning and sign autographs after.

My platform is Giving Children Hope Through A Smile. My father is a prosthodontist, which is a specialized dentistry. I have grown up seeing the work he has done and lives he has changed by creating beautiful smiles. Each year more than 200,000 children are born with cleft lip and cleft pallet. These facial deformities often cause the children to not be able to eat or speak properly. In many countries the children are shunned and hidden away. It is my goal to spread awareness about the difference a beautiful smile can make in ones life. To do this I have partnered with Operation Smile raising funds for this cause. I go into schools to spread awareness about O.S. as well as to educate children on proper dental care. I have also traveled on medical dental mission trips to Honduras to assist my father in the dental work he does.
